The Capmark Structured Real Estate Partners L.P. Debt Fund consisted of 12 mortgage, mezzanine and CMBS loans across various property types, throughout major U.S. markets. The general partner interest and a portion of the limited partner interests were acquired as part of the transaction as well as the right to control all decisions relating to the assets and the fund.
Most of the loans in the fund were in distress and required significant restructuring. We successfully restructured, worked-out, converted debt to equity and/or sold all the assets. The investment is now fully realized.
